NAMBROT 2007 MAGNUM
IGT Tuscany Red Wine

This wine is named for the founder of the family line, NAMBROT, who lived in the 9th century. It is a wine which allows us to enrich with new concepts and techniques the viticultural history of our region, working with international grapes which can give unexpectedly fine result in our area.

Blend:
Merlot 70%, Cabernet Franc 20%, Petit Verdot 10%

Vineyard location:
Pisan Hills – 200 m. a.s.l. – Tuscany – Italy

Pruning:
spur – cordon and guyot

Density per acre:
1800 and 2600 vines

Grape harvest:
by hand and pressed by foot

Fermentation:
with indigenous yeasts

Macerations:
from 7 days up to 20 days depending either on the variety and vintage

Ageing:
18 months in French oak barriques (of 1st, 2nd and 3rd passage) and 8 months in bottle before selling

Acidity:
5,4 g/lt (average)
