Area: Pisa hills, town of Fauglia.
Grapes: 80% Sangiovese, 20% Merlot.
Age of the vineyards: from 10 to 25 years; density 10000 plants/ha.
Winemaking: alcoholic fermentation with maceration on the peels for 18/21 days at 27/30°c. Malolactic in tonneaux.
Refinement: in 300 lt French oak tonneaux for about 10 months then refinement in bottle.
Colour: purple red with con violet nuances.
Scent: sangiovese classic violet and plum scents, softened by merlot cherry, very pleasant.
Taste: it results of medium body with fine and velvety tannin.
To accompany with: medium seasoned cheese, roasted red and white meat.
